US indie folk-group Bon Iver is set to release ‘Towers’ as a full 12 inch single later this month. The single is taken from the group’s second album, released last year. It will be released through 4AD on January 23rd, and through Jagjaguwar on March 6th in the US. The B-side for ‘Towers’ will be a rare John Prine cover, called ‘Bruised Orange (Chain of Sorrow)’. It was initially recorded for a 2010 tribute album, but is only being released officially now. For those of you who don’t know, country-influenced Prine rose to fame in the mid 1970s, with his sound often being paralleled to Bon Iver’s work today.
