Tucked far up in the Austrian Alps sits a quaint little ski resort 600m above sea level but for one week of the year the entire town opens up for the “Greatest Show on Snow” by which I mean the utterly non-stop party otherwise  known as SnowBombing Festival.

Hosting some of the greatest acts on the planet and only having only 4 hours of each day in which there’s not an act playing, this 5-day party is not for the faint hearted.  From igloo parties to raves in forest’s, BlagSound are were there to bring you a roundup of this years must-go spring event and why you would be stupid to not attend the best party in Europe this month!

Apart from the music, this festival has a lot to offer, from boarding down a mountain with the legendary Pat Sharpe to drunken workouts with Mr. Motivator and if that doesn’t tickle your pickle, if you can find him boshing out a bit of skiing, why not grab none other than the legend that is Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards for a beer and a blether!

Monday

The week starts well on all accrords, rolling into the zilliteral valley after meeting fellow Scottish folks on the train from Munich, we come across a sun-kissed town that’s still only really waking up for another week of mayhem and is stretching it’s ‘musical guns’

Tonight we decided to hit the ‘arena’ for one of Jackmaster’s infamous  ‘Numbers’ nights which from the strong reputation I would have thought it should’ve been slightly fuller. Nonetheless with the likes of Artwork and Jackmaster throwing down beats plus the addition of a newly upgraded stage (SB Veteran here!) the atmosphere was crazy!

After dancing out asses off to around 4am, we thought it would probably be a smart idea to maybe go to bed for 4 hours before we embarked on our first day of boarding!
